Causal Organism: colletotrichum gloeosporiodes
Symptoms:
Brown spots can be seen in the leaves and gradually increase the size of the patch. Yellow colour margin can be seen around the brown patch. Finally brown areas become dry and form holes
Management:
2. Rust
Causal Organism: Goplana dioscoreae cummins
Symptoms:
Yellow – Brown (rust) colour pustules can be seen in the lower side of the leaves
Management:

• Apply carbendazim fungicide
• Select of resistant varieties
• Use of healthy planting material
• Increase sanitation in the field
• Cultivation of resistant varieties
• Weeding
• Application of fungicide like Mancozeb / Azoxystrobin

රෝග ලක්ෂණ :
පත්‍ර වල දුඹුරු පැහැති ලප ඇතිවී ක්‍රමයෙන් විශාල වේ. දුඹුරු පැහැති පිළිස්සුම් කලාප වටා කහ පැහැති දාරයක් දැකිය හැකිය. අවසානයේ දුඹුරු පැහැ කලාප වියලි ගොස් සිඳුරු ඇති කරයි.

රෝග කාරකය: Goplana dioscoreae cummins
රෝග ලක්ෂණ :
පත්‍ර යටි පැත්තේ කහ – දුඹුරු (මලකඩ) පැහැති කුඩා බිබිලි ලෙස එක් වු කුඩු වැනි ලක්ෂණයක් පෙන්නුම් කරයි.

• කාබන්ඩසිම් දිලීරනාශකය යෙදීම
• රෝගයට ඔරොත්තු දෙන වර්ග වගා කිරීම
• නිරෝගී රෝපණ ද්‍රව්‍ය භාවිතය
• සනීපාරක්ෂක තත්ත්ව වැඩි දියුණු කිරීම

அறிகுறிகள் :
இலைகளில் கபில புள்ளிகளை காணலாம் மற்றும் அவற்றின் காயங்களின் அளவு சீராக அதிகரிக்கும். கபில புள்ளியைப் சுற்றி மஞ்சள் நிற விளிம்பு காணப்படும். இறுதியில் கபில பரப்பு காயந்து துளைகளாகும்

அறிகுறிகள் :
இலைகள் கீழ் மேற்பரப்பில் மஞ்சட் கபில (துரு) நிற கொப்புளங்களை காணலாம்
