Available Types

There are two types depending on the color of the plant stems, leaves and flowers
1.Purple type
The stem and flowers are purple in colour. Commercially grown in some areas in the country. Latex is relatively high.
2.Green type
Stem is green in colour. The flowers are white. Two species have been identified as indigenous and Thai. Both of these varieties are commercially cultivated. The milky nature of these varieties is relatively low and has become popular.
According to the growth pattern, there are two types;
The flowers are purple.

• Vine type – Stem purple-green. Grows as a runner.
• Shrub type – Stem green. The flowers are white. Grows as a shrub.

Weed Control

Weeds growing with kankun should be removed from time to time and the field should be kept clean.

මෙහි කඳ දම් පැහැයට හුරුය. මල් දම් පාටය. වාණිජ වශයෙන් සමහර ප්‍රදේශවල වගා කරනු ලැබේ. කිරි ගතිය සාපේක්‍ෂව වැඩිය.
කඳ කොළ පැහැතිය. මල් සුදු පාටය. දේශීය වර්ගය හා තායි වර්ගය වශයෙන් විශේෂ දෙකක් හඳුනාගෙන ඇත. මෙම වර්ග දෙකම වාණිජ වශයෙන් වගා කරනු ලැබේ. මෙම වර්ගවල කිරි ස්වභාවය සාපේක්ෂව අඩුවන අතර, වැඩියෙන් ජනප්‍රිය වී ඇත.
වර්ධන විලාශය අනුව,
මල් දම් පාට වේ.

• දම් පැහැති වර්ගය
• කොළ පැහැති වර්ගය
• වැල් ආකාරය – කඳ දම් පැහැයට හුරු කොළ පාට වේ. ධාවකයක් ලෙස වර්ධනය වේ.
• පඳුරු ආකාරය – කඳ කොළ පැහැතිය. මල් සුදු පාටය. පඳුරක් ලෙස වර්ධනය වේ.

වල් පැළ පාලනය

කංකුන් සමඟ වැඩෙන වල් පැළෑටි වරින් වර ගලවා ඉවත් කොට ක්ෂේත්‍රය පිරිසිදුව තබා ගත යුතුය.
