Weed Control
Field should be maintained free from weeds. Some weeds are host plant for insect. Weeding will be help to minimize the pest population. Weeding should be done before every fertilizer application.

වල් පැළෑටි පාලනය
බොහෝ කෘමීන්ගේ ධාරක ශාක ලෙස වල් පැළෑටි ක්රියාකරන බැවින් වල් පැළෑටිවලින් තොරව පවත්වා ගැනීම තුළින් කෘමි හානි අවම කර ගත හැක. සෑම පොහොර යෙදීමකටම පෙර වල් පැළ ඉවත් කිරීම සිදු කළ යුතුය.

களைக்கட்டுப்பாடு
களமானது களைகளற்று பராமரிக்கப்பட வேண்டும். சில களைகள் பூச்சிகளுக்கு விருந்துவழங்கி தாவரமாகும். களையகற்றல் பீடை குடித்தொகையை குறைக்க உதவும். ஒவ்வொரு பசளையிடலுக்கும் முன்னரும் களையகற்ற வேண்டும்.
