Harvesting
Irrigate previous day evening before harvesting. Harvesting can be done around 14 days after flowering. Harvest with the stalk as not to damage the fruit. First harvesting can be taken around 60-70 days after planting. 10-15 harvesting can be done over a period of 1 ½ – 2 months with 4 days interval of harvesting.
Processing of Yield
Avoid direct sunlight on harvested fruits pack in baskets to ensure good ventilation so as not to damage the fruit

අස්වැන්න සැකසීම
අස්වනු නෙළීමට පෙර දින සවස හොඳින් භෝගයට ජලය යොදන්න. මල් පිපී දින 14 කින් පමණ අස්වැන්න ලබාගත හැක. කරලට හානි නොවන පරිදි නටුව සමඟම අස්වැන්න නෙළන්න. භෝගයේ වයස දින 60-70 දී පළමු අස්වැන්න ලබා ගත හැකිය. ඉන්පසු දින 4 පමණ වරක් බැගින් මාස 1 1/2-2 පමණ කාලයක් තුලදී අස්වනු වාර 10-15 පමණ නෙළාගැනීමට පිළිවන.
අස්වැන්න
නෙළාගත් කරල් මතට තද හිරු රැස් වැටීමෙන් වළකාගන්න. කරල්වලට හානි නොවන සේ හොඳින් වාතාශ්රය ලැබෙන පරිදි කූඩවල අසුරන්න.

அறுவடை
அறுவடைக்கு முதல் நாள் நீர் பாசனம் செய்ய வேண்டும். பூ பூத்து 14 நாட்களின் பின் அறுவடை செய்யலாம். காயை சேதப்படுத்தாதவாறு காம்புடன் அறுவடை செய்தல். நடுகை செய்து 60-70 நாட்களில் முதல் அறுவடையைப் பெறலாம். 1 1/2-2 மாதங்களில் 4 நாள் இடைவெளியில் 10-15 தடவை அறுவடை செய்யலாம்.
விளைச்சலை பதப்படுத்தல்
பொதிகளாக்கப்பட்ட காய்கள் மீது நேரடி சூரிய ஒளி படாமையை உறுதி செய்து நல்ல காற்றோட்டத்தை பேணுவதால் காய் சேதமடையாது பேணலாம்.
