What is Farmey?
A Sri Lanka farming app for farm records, market prices, weather and crop guidance, in Sinhala, Tamil and English.
Is Farmey free?
Yes to download and use the core tools. Farmey Pro is not on sale yet.
Is Farmey available for Android?
Yes. Install from Google Play via /download. Package: com.farmey.app
Does Farmey require an account?
Parts of the app work without one. A cloud profile needs an account (email or Google Sign-In).
Which languages are available?
Sinhala, Tamil and English in the app and on this site.
Which crops and markets are supported?
Those listed in the app. The list can grow. See data sources.
How often are market prices updated?
When the market feed updates. We do not claim a fixed clock time on this page.
Are price forecasts guaranteed?
No. Outlooks are information to help you decide, not a promised price.
Where does weather data come from?
A forecast for a place you chose, or the field while the app is open. See data sources.
Can Farmey identify every crop disease?
No. Plant Doctor is an AI estimate for supported crops. Confirm a serious outbreak with an agriculture officer.
Can Farmey work without internet?
Farm records on the phone stay on the device. Live prices, weather and news need a connection.
Is Farmey a government app?
No. Farmey is operated by Weera Agriculture (PVT) Ltd. Government service pages are guides, not official notices.
How is personal data protected?
See the privacy policy. Collect only what the app needs. You can request deletion.
How can I delete my account?
Use /delete-account. You do not need the password if you lost access.
How can I report incorrect information?
Use the contact form and choose Incorrect information.
How can I contact Farmey support?
Contact form or support@farmey.lk. Never send a password, OTP or payment details.
How can I become an ambassador?
Apply at /ambassadors.
How can an organisation partner with Farmey?
