Not reported earlier, during last 2-3 years Cutworm –attack (Spodoptera litura ) was reported
Nematode damage can be identified with repeat cultivation of the same crop during prolonged period,
Control

• Crop rotation
• Application of poultry manure to the soil
• Use healthy seed tubers

Disease Management

There are no significant diseases damage identified for the cultivation of innala. But can cause roundworm (nematodes) damage when planting innala in the same field for a long time.
Root nodules caused by roundworms can lead to stunted growth and death of the plant.
To avoid this

• Use of healthy seed tubers
• Organic chicken manure can be used.

ඉන්නල වගාව සඳහා හදුනාගත් වැදගත් රෝග හානි නොමැති අතර දිගින් දිගට එකම ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ඉන්නල වගා කිරීමෙන් වට පණු (නෙමටෝඩාවන්) හානි ඇති විය හැකියි.
වටපණුවන් මඟින් මූල ගැටිති ඇති කිරීම මඟින් ශාකයේ වර්ධනය දුර්වල වී මැරී යාම සිදු විය හැකියි.

நோய் முகாமைத்துவம்

சிறு கிழங்கு செய்கையில் எவ்வித குறிப்பிடக் கூடிய நோய் பாதிப்பும் கண்டறியப்படவில்லை ஆனால் தொடர்ந்து சிறு கிழங்கை ஒரே களத்தில் நடுகை செய்கையில் வட்டப்புழு (நெமற்றோடு ) பாதிப்பு ஏற்படலாம்
வட்டப்புழுக்களால் ஏற்படும் வேர் முடிச்சுகளால் தாவர வளர்ச்சி குன்றல் மற்றும் தாவர இறப்பு ஏற்படலாம்.
இதை தவிர்க்க

• ஆரோக்கியமான விதை கிழங்கு பயன்படுத்தல்
• சேதன கோழியெரு பயன்படுத்தல்
